About Us

The Foundation

Prior to starting on our own, we had worked with prestigious organizations and government technology institutes. Here we fostered interest in applied research in computing, electronics, industrial and operational management. We developed projects related to networking, results processing, real time stock trading and UUCP (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UUCP) based email systems as proof-of-concept partnering with IIT Kanpur node as an academic research network - ERNET (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ERNET) in early 90s..

Modest Beginning and Challenges

After starting MPS Digital in 1995, We developed many different software projects for organisations. We developed stand-alone softwares, automated document transfer system on plain old telephone lines (POTS), using ZMODEM (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZMODEM). In the pre-internet era, we launched a free BBS ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulletin_board_system). Having experience in digital communications, MPS digital were the earliest adopters of technologies, servers and tools relating to the internet. We created web sites and web applications followed by corporate intranet and gateways using Linux servers, firewalls. Our expertise included Linux System administration and consulting to overseas clients, developing and maintaining multilingual portals for international customers. We implemented IP telephony, web enabled IVRS systems, dedicated mail servers, secure corporate VPN, multi ISP failover gateways, Biometric projects, IoT systems including Industrial IoT (IIoT). Lately have applied AI into the various applications for IoT.

The journey of nearly three decades has been fascinating and we continue to add experience and knowledge in the state-of-art digital technologies. We are also mentoring and collaborating with startups in the technology sector. Get in touch with us to know more about and discuss your requirements.

  • 2013 - First Industrial IoT developed (RPM logging)
  • 2014 - IIoT, Initial Prototype for Domestic Energy Monitoring
  • 2015 - IIoT development for Industrial Energy Monitoring and MODBUS interface for legacy devices
  • 2019 - Customised Biometric System (discontinued during Covid19)
  • 2021 - Industrial IoT for Electrical Energy with other process parameters reporting and visualisation
  • 2022 - IIoT Enhancements with integration of OT, IT and Events with different protocols
  • 2023 - Development of IIoT Edge Computing devices, Cloud system and their integration and successful implementation
